VMware Cloud Flex Storage Now Available to Cloud Service Providers – SaaS Partners

We are excited to announce that starting today, August 28, 2023, VMware Cloud Flex Storage is generally available to VMware Cloud Services Provider – SaaS partners (formerly Managed Service Providers). The Cloud Service Provider – SaaS (CSP-SaaS) route to market allows partners to use VMware Software-as-a-Service offerings without investing in their own data center infrastructure, by additionally providing managed services . CSP-SaaS partners can access VMware Cloud Flex Storage through VMware Cloud Partner Browserwhich is our unified SaaS portal that allows providers to deploy SaaS offerings and manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle.

VMware Cloud Flex Storage is built on a mature, enterprise-class file system that has been developed and hardened in production over many years. This is the same file system that supports VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery. It allows independent scaling of performance and storage capacity and elastic adjustment of storage capacity up or down as needed, making it a versatile file system that opens many use case. Cloud service providers can use VMware Cloud Flex Storage to power their VMware Cloud Director service and VMware Cloud on AWS multi-tenant solution. Support for new regions
VMware Cloud Flex Storage is now available in the AWS Asia Pacific Regions (Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney). With this launch, VMware Cloud Flex Storage will be available in 17 AWS Regions. Partners can find the current list of supported zones here.
VMware Cloud Partner Browser
Before integrating VMware Cloud Partner Navigator, Cloud Service Provider – SaaS partners must have at least one active validation agreement in VMware Commerce Portal for VMware Cloud Flex Storage or other SaaS service, a valid VMware ID associated with a active validation contract and receipt of the invitation email from the provider organization.
