The lighter, limited-edition carbon fiber model starts at an even higher price of $26,500. Taiga Motors has a cheaper machine in the works, the 90-horsepower Orca Sport for $17,490, but it’s not yet available.
However, these prices are not exactly out of step with those of Taiga’s competitors. Gasoline watercraft from Kawasaki, Sea Doo and Yamaha can cost between $5,000 and $20,000.
