Reasons for sudden weight loss

Modern girls and women try to follow fashion, sometimes without thinking about what consequences await them in pursuing the “perfect” body. The whole world admires and looks at thin models, dreaming of becoming like them.
When a person follows a strict diet (although it would be more correct to call it starvation), he disrupts the biological rhythms of his body. Is it not enough to be an interesting person or learn to attract attention in other ways? Why does natural beauty not attract many? If you look at ancient Greek statues and paintings by artists, you will find that the volumes of women depicted on them differ from modern concepts of beauty: a bust, full hips, and an implicit waist – in ancient times, the beauty looked different. It turns out that the world-famous artists have the wrong idea about “beauty”?

And are fashion models so attractive, and is it easy for them to live in a frail bodies? Exploring women’s magazines, you can find that most girls dream of becoming fashion models with full breasts or hips. Statistics – science, respectively, only confirms the theory that a woman should have a figure and not its absence.
Sudden weight loss is a sign of a fatal disease.
Few of the “adherents” of beauty know that excessive thinness is a sign of soreness. What can cause unhealthy weight loss?
If a person suddenly begins to lose a lot of weight, close people should consider that he may be unwell, and it is best to send him for testing to determine the cause and begin to act.
Perhaps the worst thing that can result from sudden weight loss is cancer. Cancers are a concern because they are not fully understood, so doctors are not always able to cure the patient or alleviate the course of the disease. Ailments, such as sharp weight loss in a person, are one of the first symptoms of bone tissue pathology in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. But there is always hope for a cure; the main thing is to respond in time.
Another disease that causes severe and noticeable weight loss is pulmonary tuberculosis. This is a dangerous, contagious, and intractable (including in the early stages) disease. Patients with tuberculosis are placed in a special anti-tuberculosis dispensary. Tuberculosis of the lungs and trachea is considered one of the most serious infectious diseases. His first symptoms immediately appear as chest cough with strong gusts; sputum with blood when expectorating; weakness and drowsiness, and of course, a sharp weight loss.

During the First World War, this disease was incurable. People were dying, and doctors couldn’t do anything to cure them, and doctors had a very narrow range of knowledge and skills in this area. Modern scientists have proven that a third of the world’s population has tuberculosis nodules in the body, which are “waiting” for activation, having entered the body through the air. The statistics are disappointing: about 3 million people die annually infected with pulmonary tuberculosis. At the earliest stages of the detection of tuberculosis, its treatment is possible.
Taking pills is not enough for a 100% cure for tuberculosis; you must undergo a course of physiotherapy, drug, and immunosuppressive therapy and perform breathing exercises. In severe cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, surgery is performed to remove the affected lung. Without proper treatment, the disease is fatal; on average, a person dies within 2-3 years.
Stress causing anorexia
It is impossible not to mention stress when thinking about the cause of sudden weight loss. People living in megacities, day after day, rush “like a squirrel in a wheel.” Barbs and unpleasant situations in the family, work, or even the shopping center unsettle a person. However, there is another type of stress – strong and silent, arising from terrible and horrifying events that have happened to a person (death of close relatives, accidents, fatal diseases).
With any stress, an important detail is damaged – nerve cells. These cells in the body are irreversibly injured every time a person experiences stress. Scientists are still researching this area to determine ways to recreate nerve cells artificially.
Thus, in all cases and stressful situations, the body falls into a state of shock, as indicated by three clear signs: sudden weight loss, gradual loss of appetite, and nervousness. First, because of nervousness or shock, a person completely loses his appetite and then quietly “fades away” before our eyes. And it is extremely difficult to cure a deviation at home; only an immediate appeal to a specialist will help.

Sometimes after undergoing treatment, a person comes to his senses and again gains the lost kilograms. But not everything is so simple. Weight loss due to stress leads to eating disorders, a deadly disease called anorexia. Remembering slender, sometimes too, models, you can suspect something is wrong, which is not obvious even to them. Most of these world-famous women have the initial stages of anorexia. And it remains only to assume whether this disease is caused by stress or deliberate starvation. It is worth emphasizing that sooner or later, anorexia leads a person to die because the human stomach decreases in size with prolonged starvation.
Anorexia is extremely dangerous for both the psyche and the body. The maximum reduction in the stomach size is a reversible process: people with anorexia forget that even a small portion of food is life; do not rush and eat too much, and then the food will not cause strong retching. That is why the stomach gets rid of food because it simply does not fit in it!
To restore the work of the stomach, doctors put the patient on a drip with a “nutritive” glucose solution. Then the dose of the drug is gradually increased. The course of treatment is prescribed; it all depends on the patient’s condition, but on average, therapy takes from several months to six months.
