Does HBO Max support Apple Spatial Audio?
If you’re an Apple fanatic who spent money on headphones that support Apple’s Spatial Audio, you’re in luck, because HBO Max supports the use of this sound mode.
Apple spatial audio adds directional audio filters to 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos signals, changing the frequencies heard by each ear so that sounds can be placed virtually anywhere on the three-dimensional spectrum. The audio will appear to be coming from the front, sides, rear and even above and below you in an effort to replicate the cinematic sound experience.
This is not the first time such technology has been developed.
