Principles of Ayurveda

 People with a Vata constitution are called air people. By build, these people are thin, hair and skin are dry. They have fast metabolisms. The nervous system is periodically subjected to depression.

Very windy and superficial people.


Fire people. Leaders are career driven, charismatic, emotional, and straightforward. 

The presence of fat. Such people quickly recover and also quickly lose weight. Oily skin, hair. The main hormone is testosterone. The body needs exercise. 


People of the earth. Distrustful, contemptuous, envious. Good performers do not need career growth.

Physiology – a lot of body fat. Does not take out a lot of physical activity. Oily skin, hair.

The main hormone is insulin. 


Daily routine, according to Ayurveda.

One of the main principles of Ayurveda is body care. This is the observance of the daily regimen and nutrition.

At certain times of the day, certain energies affect us. The human biological clock works.

6 am to 10 am – Kapha

Weak digestive fire. At this time, we must prepare our bodies for eating. Avoid overeating and junk food.

Also, at this time, information is easy to remember.

10 to 14 – pitta

Strong fire of digestion. At this time, any food is well digested.

From 14 to 18 – cotton wool

Wind and bustle. Sports are good at the moment.

18 to 22 – Kapha

The weak fire of digestion sets in again. We prepare the body for sleep

22 to 2 – pitta

If at this time, we did not go to bed, then the fire of digestion turns on again. But these fireworks are only for our minds to put in order. During this period, the deepest sleep.

2 to 6 – cotton wool

The best time to get up. 

Ayurveda: causes of diseases and their treatment

All diseases appear at the level of consciousness. First, an incorrect emotion arises in the subtle body, and an imbalance of energies gradually appears, and the air currents are disturbed. 

Wrong lifestyle, nutrition, and non-compliance with the regime lead to diseases.

Six tastes in Ayurveda

  1. Sweet is one of the most important tastes. Nourishes organs and tissues, which are difficult to digest. The elements of earth and water predominate. Balances Vata and Pitta doshas. Removes Kapha dosha from balance.
  2. Sour – is dominated by the elements of earth and fire. Stimulates metabolic processes. It relieves gas and spasms and sharpens the work of the mind.
  3. Salty – water and fire. In small amounts, it calms Vata dosha but disables Pitta and Kapha. Helps to remove waste and improves digestion.
  4. Burning – fire, and air. It brings Kapha dosha well and disables Pitta and Vata. In small amounts, it removes excess fat and removes body waste. In large quantities, it leads to a decrease in sexual activity in men and women.
  5. Bitter-air and ether. Favorable for Kapha. Antitoxic and removes parasites, relieves inflammation and cleanses the liver and blood. In excess causes vomiting.
  6. The binder is air and earth. It has anti-inflammatory properties and stops bleeding. Excess creates spasms. 

Ayurveda and body oiling

It is the nourishment of the inner layers of the body. Ayurveda says that our body consists of 7 layers. When we do oiling, we nourish all these layers. 

The oil will pass into the deeper layers of the body only when oiling is regular.

The oil should be light and without additives. Choose the oil whose aroma you like the most.

Oil examples:

  • Sesame
  • Argan
  • coconut
  • Almond
  • Linen
  • mustard

It doesn’t need to be warmed up before application, so it will better penetrate the layers of the skin.

Wash off the oil after 30-40 minutes. It is best to wash it off with ubtan.

Massaging the face, body, and scalp with oil will be very useful.

Ayurvedic medicines


For medicinal purposes, the remedy has been used since ancient times. Arjuna is an unremarkable tree with dense foliage.

Aqueous extract effectively affects cardiovascular health. Helps maintain normal blood pressure and platelet function and promotes healthy heart muscle. Numerous studies have confirmed this.


A plant from the milkweed family. Its unique properties were noticed by the distant ancestors of the Indians and were widely used for medicinal purposes.

It is an effective remedy for lowering blood sugar. If you chew the leaves of the plant, the taste of sugar is leveled.

Helps in the treatment of cough, asthma, nitrite, and alopecia. Anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory agent.

A small shrub that grows on hillsides and valleys. Guggul resin extract has been used for over 3000 years. Included in the golden range of medicinal plants. 

It treats skin diseases, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis, facial paralysis, constipation, hemorrhoids, liver disease, thrombosis, and diabetes.
